A Presentation for YouthThrough this interactive presentation, teens learn about the many ways that early childhood experiences can affect brain functioning and behavior. They'll engage in a self-assessment to evaluate their own ACES "score" and discuss practical ways to counteract ACES with healthy, positive behavior and optimal brain health. The ACES Presentation can be delivered to a single class (e.g., health), multiple classes (e.g., all 9th graders), or as a school-wide assembly. Appropriate for high school-aged and middle school-aged youth (modified).Recommended as part of the Healthy Choices Series, including Teen Dating Violence Prevention and Taking STEPS to Healthy Decision Making.Now scheduling Presentations on Demand.
